Do you offer urgent or emergency service?
Same-day service applies to all evaluations booked by 7:30 PM. Emergency response is available 24/7 across the Wasatch Front. If your heat or AC goes out, call us at (385) 527-1726 day or night.
What areas do you serve?
We serve the greater Salt Lake metro and communities across the Wasatch Front, including Salt Lake City, South Salt Lake, West Valley City, Murray, Sandy, Draper, Provo, Orem, Ogden, Layton, Park City, and Lehi. Our coverage extends through Salt Lake, Utah, Davis, Weber, Summit, and Tooele counties.
How quickly can someone come out?
Same-day service applies to all evaluations booked by 7:30 PM. Repair timing varies based on the diagnosis, parts availability, and current scheduling. Emergency calls are prioritized; call for current availability.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Flexible financing is available for qualified buyers on new equipment installations, so a new heating or cooling system doesn’t have to break the bank. Ask about current options when you call, or visit our financing page.
Will you give me a second opinion on a replacement quote?
Absolutely. If another company quoted you for a new system, bring it to us — we’ll review it for free and make sure you’re getting the right equipment at a fair price.
Which HVAC brands do you install and service?
We sell the best and service the rest. For new installs we’re an authorized Goodman dealer — and our NATE-certified technicians can repair virtually every major make and model, including Lennox, Rheem, Carrier, and Trane, no matter who installed it.
How often should I have my system maintained?
We recommend a professional tune-up twice a year — once in spring for your AC and once in fall for your heating. Regular maintenance keeps your system efficient, extends its life, and helps prevent surprise breakdowns. Ask about our maintenance plans for hassle-free seasonal service.
Is a heat pump a good fit for Utah's climate?
For many Wasatch Front homes, yes. Today’s high-efficiency heat pumps heat and cool from a single system and can lower your energy bills. Our team will assess your home and recommend the right solution — heat pump, furnace, or both.
Are your technicians licensed and certified?
Yes. S.O.S. is fully licensed and insured, and our technicians are NATE Certified (HVAC Core, Gas Furnaces, Electrical Diagnosis) and EPA Certified to safely handle refrigerants.
