ThermWise Appliance Rebates
ThermWise Appliance Rebates offer cash incentives to Utah residents who install high-efficiency HVAC and plumbing equipment. The program rewards upgrades that reduce natural gas usage and improve overall energy efficiency — with some incentives reaching up to $1,200. All equipment must meet program standards, and applications must be submitted within six months of installation.
Rebates are available for:
- High-efficiency furnaces & dual-fuel heating systems
- Energy-saving ventilation and combined heating/water-heating systems
- Efficient water heaters — tankless, condensing, hybrid & solar-assisted
- Smart water heater controllers and low-flow plumbing enhancements
Wattsmart Business Program
Rocky Mountain Power's Wattsmart Business program provides cash incentives to commercial customers in Utah for energy-efficient HVAC and plumbing upgrades. Incentive amounts vary by equipment type and can reach several hundred dollars per unit or system component. Projects may require pre-approval, and all equipment must meet program efficiency standards.
Incentives are available for:
- High-efficiency HVAC systems — rooftop units, VRF systems & chillers
- Advanced rooftop controls and smart thermostats
- Economizers, demand-controlled ventilation & duct sealing
- High-efficiency water heaters, heat pump water heaters & pipe insulation
- Low-flow plumbing fixtures within broader energy-saving projects
