These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the S.O.S Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling website (sosairutah.com) and the services provided by S.O.S Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling (operating as the legal entity SOS heating & cooling LLC; "we", "us", "our"). By accessing this website, requesting an estimate, or scheduling service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

Use of This Website

This website is provided for general information about our heating, cooling, plumbing, water heater, and fireplace services along the Wasatch Front. While we strive for accuracy, content may change without notice and does not constitute a guarantee of service availability, equipment specifications, or pricing. You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems, or scrape or republish content without permission.

Estimates & Pricing

Pricing, specials, and financing offers displayed on this website are for general reference, are subject to change without notice, and may require an in-person inspection, equipment verification, or credit approval. Online and phone estimates are preliminary and non-binding. A binding quote is provided in writing before work begins, and only a signed written quote or service agreement establishes the final price for a project. Additional work discovered after a job begins (such as concealed code violations or pre-existing damage) will be communicated and approved by you before proceeding.

Scheduling & Cancellations

Appointment windows are estimates, and actual arrival times can be affected by emergency calls and job complexity; we will keep you updated if a window changes. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible — ideally at least 24 hours — by calling (801) 449-1771. We reserve the right to charge a trip or diagnostic fee for missed appointments where our technician arrives and cannot access the property, and we will disclose any such fee before booking.

Promotions & Coupons

Promotions, coupons, and discounts are limited to one per service, cannot be combined with other offers unless the offer expressly says otherwise, and have no cash value. Each offer is valid only for the dates, services, and service areas stated in the offer, must be mentioned at the time of booking or presented before invoicing, and applies to qualifying retail services only. We reserve the right to modify or end a promotion at any time, except for work already booked under the offer.

Financing

Financing is offered through third-party lenders and is subject to credit approval, the lender's terms and conditions, and applicable law. S.O.S Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling is not a lender and does not make credit decisions. Advertised rates, terms, and monthly payment examples are provided by lenders, may change without notice, and may not be available to all applicants. Your financing agreement is between you and the lender.

Warranties & Workmanship

We stand behind our work. Labor warranties, as well as manufacturer equipment warranties, vary by the equipment installed and the service performed; the specific terms that apply to your job are stated in your written quote, invoice, or service documentation. Manufacturer warranties are provided by the manufacturer and are subject to the manufacturer's terms, including registration and maintenance requirements. Warranties may be voided by unauthorized repairs or modifications, misuse, neglect, or failure to perform recommended maintenance. Except as expressly stated in your written service documents, services and website content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, S.O.S Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of your use of this website or our services, including lost profits or data, even if we were advised such damages were possible. Our total liability related to any service is limited to the amount you paid for that service, and our liability for services is otherwise governed by the written agreements signed at the time of service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability arising from gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless S.O.S Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling, its owners, employees, and agents from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your misuse of this website, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

We want to resolve any concern quickly and fairly. If you have a dispute with us, you agree to first contact us at (801) 449-1771 or [email protected] and give us a good-faith opportunity to resolve it informally within 30 days. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, you and S.O.S Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling agree that the dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration conducted in Salt Lake County, Utah, before a single arbitrator, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court. You and S.O.S Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or other representative proceeding. Any arbitration will proceed on an individual basis only.

SMS / Text Messaging Terms

If you opt in to receive text messages from S.O.S Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling, you agree to receive SMS messages related to your service requests (such as appointment confirmations, technician arrival updates, and follow-ups) and, where separately opted in, occasional promotional messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out; reply HELP for help or contact us at (801) 449-1771. Privacy & Your Privacy Choices

Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The terms that apply to a specific service engagement are those in effect at the time you sign your service agreement.
